 | Radios and phones Especially in larger facilities the use of radios and phones is essential. Most of this equipment will interfere with the meters so much care is needed when picking up and analyzing readings. |
 | Flash lights We use a variety of flashlights. The only ones we will not use are the Faraday "shake to charge" flashlight. Those lights use a powerful magnet that interferes with our meters. |
 | Cameras We use all types of cameras. Digital cameras have been better at catching the image of "Orbs". We use night vision, remote wireless and 35 mm cameras also. All our images are analyzed at great length to determine their validity. |
 | Meters There are several types and models of meters that are used in our investigations. EMF (electromagnetic field) Meters pick up power frequency electromagnetic fields, also known as ELF (extremely low frequency)We also use meters that pick up earth magnetism interruptions and fluctuations. Another set of tools we use is compasses and dowsing rods. We use digital non contact thermometers to find temperature drops that can indicate a presence. It is believed that spirits need to draw energy from their surroundings to make their presence known. |
 | Specialty equipment This is Night Ranger.It is the second generation of remote control investigation developed by our team. This is the newest tool in our arsenal. It has night vision video and audio recording capabilities. It has the ability to go into tight places and record for three hours with very little disturbance. |
 | Recorders The tape recorder can pick up disembodied voice, EVPs. We use both digital and analog recorders. Some paper, pens and pencils are useful for recording information. When we are outside looking for something, it is very handy to have a GPS (global positioning system) with tracking ability to see where you have already been, or mark the spot you were when that chance encounter occurred. |
